AP Digi Lakshmi Scheme Details, Eligibility and Benefits

The state of AP has launched the “Digi Lakshmi Scheme” on 30th June 2025. This is the scheme where the they want to empower the urban poor women in the state by allowing them to join the common service centre. The government is planning to establish CSCs common service centres all over the state across urban local bodies. This is a great benefit to the urban poor women who are looking for these opportunities. They will establish more than 9000 service centres in Andhra Pradesh. The announcement of the scheme is made by S Suresh Kumar, principal secretary, MA&UD.

The scheme is to promote the vision of one family, one entrepreneur. They mention that these common service centres will be managed by the self-help group Women’s. The state help these women to start their entrepreneurship journey by building small and medium enterprises. All The Eligible SHG women will be selected by the higher authority named as Digi Laxmi. AP Digi Lakshmi Scheme Details

The state want to promote women entrepreneurship in the by providing them with this opportunity to join the CSC centre. The centres will be managed by the SHG women in the state. These women will get training to provide more than 250 public services through these centres. They will select women between the ages of 21 and 40 years who have a graduate degree. The women who are already members of a self-help group in Andhra Pradesh will get priority to select under the scheme. Self-help groups for womens will convert into entrepreneurs by creating small and medium enterprises, which is the main vision of the TDP party in Andhra Pradesh.

They also provide financial assistance to women who want to start the journey of entrepreneurship and want to become self-dependent. This will also help to generate employment opportunities for others under small and medium enterprises. The women will get the loan facility to start their business. Plan for Self-Help Group Women’s

The Andhra Pradesh Telugu Desam Party is planning to promote women’s empowerment by pushing them to start their small businesses. They also want to promote the self-help groups and educate women to join these groups and avail the benefits given by the State.

Those women who are already the acting members of SHG can avail themselves of the Digi Lakshmi scheme. Every woman has a dream to become a self-owner, and your dream to become a business owner can be fulfilled by the Andhra Pradesh if you follow all the guidelines given by officials.

Eligibility List

• The scheme only provides the benefit to those women who are between the ages of 21 to 40.
• The applicant must belong to Andhra Pradesh only.
• An education qualification required to join the undefined service centre is a graduate degree, and knowledge of computers and other digital electronics devices.
• You should join the self-help group to avail the benefit of the scheme.
• Select the women who are permanent members of the self-help group from the past 3 years.
• The women who are already running the small business are not eligible under the scheme.
• The woman should be totally dependent on her family and have no earning source

Training for the Digi Laksmi

During the announcement of the scheme, they have mentioned that they will provide the training facility to those women who will be selected under the scheme. The department of MEPMA implements the skin for all the women in the state. The women will get the training facility along with the financial support to start their business.  The Department of CSE e-governance service India Limited provide the training to the women of the SHG self-help group and identifies or selects women for the common service centre.

Loan Facility for SHG’s Women

The government provide the loan facilities for all the eligible women under the scheme. The women will get the facility to avail Rs 2 to Rs 2.5 from the state government to start their business.

The women of the self-help group can join as Digi Laksmi Kiosks and where people can learn about services by visiting their homes. They will provide the knowledge about the welfare schemes, various certificates and the bill payment. This is an employment opportunity for the SHG women. The government is planning to set up a Kaiosk centre across the state. There are so many centres that are already operational for the public service, and the women of the SHG group have the opportunity to earn up to Rs 30000 per month to join the centre.

Right now, they are providing 20 services through the centres. The women who have a general knowledge of computers and other members of SHG can join the centres. The centres help the women grow economically, and all the members of the self-help group get the advantage of this scheme.
